  • Gather relevant documentation and information
  • Check manufacturing feasibility in terms of technology, infrastructure and staff
  • Prepare business plan and project calculations
  • Create human resource management strategy
  • Update technology roadmap
  • Find potential manufacturing sites

Preparing price quote

  • Prepare preliminary plans for personnel needs, testing, logistics, quality control and serial production
  • Develop a comprehensive manufacturing plan to cover all outsourced processes
  • Identify and assess project risks
  • Calculate resources, timeframes and costs required
  • Agree upon and document technical requirements and cost implications
  • Finalise and sign contract including both business and technical project details

Project kick-off

  • Assess and evaluate client expectations
  • Define and approve kick-off protocol
  • Prepare and approve production layout plan
  • Develop System FMEA and testing strategy
  • Get client approval for project plan, including timing
  • Confirm manufacturing plans and instructions according to product lifecycle
  • Define and approve production targets and KPIs
  • Appoint dedicated project manager

Industrial site development

  • Prepare and share BOM
  • Prepare production equipment schedules, including Operations Equipment List
  • Complete PPAP process
  • Prepare and approve logistics strategy
  • Perform and successfully complete HSE review
  • Approve and validate the technologies used for manufacturing

Project ramp-up

  • Complete product validation
  • Prepare operator training plan and start training
  • Prepare reporting forms and set up jour fixe meetings
  • Approve product by accepting PPAP
  • Complete and hand over product documentation

Contract manufacturing

  • Assess and confirm manufacturing capability
  • Define and approve product lifecycle
  • Implement quality inspection measures in the production process
  • Set up reporting system and production data exchange
  • Conduct regular quality, production process and work site audits (LPA)
